Of the many types of coffee trees in the world, only two types are commonly harvested; Arabica and Robusta. The Arabica bean makes up over two-thirds of the world's coffee production including most specialty coffee varietals. The Robusta bean is rarely consumed by itself, because of its bitter and acidic flavor, and higher levels of caffeine. Fair Trade – Our Fair Trade coffee is purchased from farmers at a fair price certified by accredited nonprofit agencies.  Buying it, you promote a just and sustainable economic system – improving the quality of life in the communities where it’s grown.

Shade Grown – Shade’s not just good for people, it’s good for coffee.  That’s why ours is grown under a lush tree canopy.  It provides a habitat for wildlife.  And pest control?  That’s left up to the birds.
