The #BetterTasteLessWaste Campaign
To spread the word about our eco-friendly pods and reduce the number of K-Cups going into our landfills, we started the #BetterTasteLessWaste campaign. The campaign is simple – consumers can go to our website and take a pledge to switch from plastic K-Cups to Cameron’s BetterBrew Eco Coffee Pods.
An average single serve user drinks 1,241 cups a year, so if just one consumer took the pledge, the number of coffee pods entering our landfills each year would be reduced by that amount. Our initial goal was to reduce the number of K-Cups entering landfills by 1 million.
However, in just one week, people pledged to keep 10.5 million single serve coffee pods from entering our landfills, over 10 times our goal! Even now, the number still ticks upward. See how high it has reached.
