After each long, cold, Minnesota winter, you can bet us northern folks are ready to take full advantage of those blissful summer days! From hiking, to fishing, boating and biking, we don’t take a single sunny day for granted.

While summer 2020 has looked different than usual, we’ve been using this time to pause and appreciate some of the little things: more time enjoying great books, revisiting old hobbies, and of course, enjoying delicious coffee from our favorite summer spots.

It’s always bittersweet when August rolls around and it’s time to turn the page to fall. We say “see you later” to cold brew and sun-filled days and “hello” to cool air, warm blankets and cozying up by the fire with holiday coffee. Before we officially close the chapter on summer 2020, we want to take a moment to pause and appreciate some of our favorite coffee moments from the past few months.

1. Up north camping / at the cabin

Living in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, it’s only fitting that some of our favorite moments were spent on “lake time” at the cabin or camping. There’s nothing quite like getting away, even if it’s just for a day or two! Many of our weekends were spent exploring new and familiar places with Cameron’s in hand.

2. Over our Favorite Summer Read

Nothing goes together better than good coffee and a good book. We don’t know about you, but we made a serious dent in our summer reading bucket list this year! Some of our favorite memories to look back on from summer 2020 are be the moments we spent pouring ourselves into a page-turner, while enjoying our favorite brew.

3. From our new home offices

It’s no surprise that more of us enjoyed our weekday morning (and afternoon) brews from our home offices over the past few months. While this change in scenery took some adjusting, we grew to love those daily sips of liquid productivity from the familiar views of home. 😊 Not to mention the time spent catching up over coffee with our new “coworkers” – aka family, partners and four-legged friends.

4. Over a virtual coffee date with friends

A fun coffee date with friends is always a good idea – no matter what form it comes in. Some of our favorite memories from this summer were those spent laughing and catching up virtually with those that matter most over our favorite brew.

5. Anywhere Outdoors

Summer means soaking up all the treats that Mother Nature brings along. At the top of that list are bright sunshine, fresh blooms and green grass. It’s only fitting that our last (but certainly not least) favorite coffee moment from this summer was enjoying our favorite brew from anywhere outdoors. On the dock, patio, hammock – you name it! Fresh air and fresh coffee made for some of our most memorable summer moments.
