At Cameron’s, we are dedicated to doing the right thing for the environment, the farmers we work with, and our customers.

From choosing responsible farming practices to reducing waste, we have always kept our mission in mind: to make more sunny starts. And we are proud to say that our sustainability efforts have contributed to achieving this goal.

Farmer Appreciation

Environmental responsibility starts with the farmers who grow our coffee beans. That’s why we make it a point to get to know them, their families, and the crews of workers. As we travel around the world in search of the best beans, we make sure we’re not only getting the best quality coffee but also supporting the livelihoods of those who work tirelessly to grow it.

Sustainability is a way of life

Our team is focused on becoming good stewards of the environment. We champion initiatives, big and small, that protect the planet. From reducing water consumption during roasting to using recycled paperboard in our EcoPods packaging, we are proud of our green efforts in our facility, packaging, and waste stream. Plus, we send our coffee by-products to a local composting facility, helping to reduce landfill waste.

Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond just producing great coffee. We strive to make our packaging materials environmentally friendly and create as little waste as possible throughout our processes. We also incorporate social responsibility into our everyday production habits, ensuring fair working conditions and wages for all those who work for us.

Compostable EcoPods

We aim to make convenience better, without adding to the world’s plastic waste. Our single-serve EcoPods are made from plant-based materials like corn and beets, and they are certified for industrial compost facilities. You’ll love the taste of your coffee even more knowing that it’s brewed through a filter, not a plastic cup. And once you’re done, you can compost the pod and watch it break down into organic matter, with the proper application of moisture, heat and oxygen!

At Cameron’s, we support the growth of industrial and municipal composting facilities, because they don’t exist everywhere. For more information on composting check out the EPA’s website.

Always Organic

Our full line of organic products is a source of pride. Many are shade-grown and always use premium Arabica beans. Organic farming supports land stewardship, protecting biodiversity and ecological balance, and using natural pest management and fertilization. Our specialty coffee blends are available in premium and organic varieties, so you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee while supporting environmentally-friendly practices.


Use data from Roasters to get a better idea of Roaster’s energy efficiency.
Find ways to reuse or recycle our jute bags and plastic waste.
Improve waste tracking by working in partnership with Republic, our waste service provider.
Increase energy efficiency and decrease water intensity throughout the company.
