How to Make an Affogato

We don’t know about you, but we think warmer months are a great excuse to indulge in cool treats, like gelato or ice cream! And when you can find a way to add coffee to the mix, that’s even better.

If you’re new to the affogato, it’s a delicious Italian coffee-based dessert. What’s not to love about combining piping hot, smooth coffee balanced with a scoop of indulgent vanilla ice cream? (Chocolate ice cream would also be divine). It’s not too heavy, the ice cream will satisfy a craving for sweets and the coffee will help perk you up at the end of your meal. It just might be the best dessert ever!

Fun fact, the word affogato means “drowned” in Italian, which is the perfect way to describe how your favorite Cameron’s blend is going to melt and mingle with classic vanilla ice cream. Try it at home with our classic recipe.
