Concept to Launch
Developing a new flavor is a year-long process. The Cameron’s team begins each spring by compiling inspirations and innovations from the previous year and brainstorming exciting new ideas for the year ahead. This highly collaborative process includes everyone on our team. First, our roast master selects the perfect bean and roast level to match the flavor profile we’ve landed on. Then, our flavor house adds a sunny touch by bringing our flavor concepts to life.
Collaboration isn’t limited to team members—our consumer relations team keeps an ear out for flavor suggestions and feedback from our wonderful customers to influence new creations!
Testing and Feedback
Once flavor concepts are defined and chosen, our roast master and flavor house explore different recipes and perfect the flavors until they’re just right—always smooth and never bitter. After a flavor is developed, it goes through our internal tasting panel of staff from multiple departments to fine-tune the final result.
When the selected flavor is approved, our marketing team launches the newest item for our drinkers. So much love and passion go into our flavor development process—are you ready to fill your mornings with flavor?
What’s Next?
We develop flavors year-round, and our newest will drop in June. It’s a bright, sweet flavored blend inspired by the heart of the Midwest. Any guesses?
